One doctor. Every visit.
Meet Dr. Alex Vo
Orthodontic care planned by Dr. Alex Vo — who completed both dental school and his orthodontic residency at OHSU, right here in Portland.

A note from Dr. Vo
I trained right here in Portland — both my dental degree and my orthodontic residency at OHSU — and I built Bridge City to practice the way I always believed care should feel: unhurried, precise, and genuinely yours.
That means residency-trained, master's-prepared expertise paired with technology I love putting to work — 3D treatment planning, in-office aligner printing, and advanced options like MARPE expansion and TADs for selected complex cases that benefit from additional planning. But the tools are only half of it. The other half is sitting with you, explaining your options in plain language, and making sure the plan fits your life and your budget.
At Bridge City you'll always meet the doctor, get an honest plan, and understand your options, timeline, and estimated treatment cost before you decide. One doctor, every visit — that's how I've practiced, and it's not changing.
Training that stays focused on orthodontics
Orthodontic residency is additional training that follows dental school and focuses entirely on moving teeth, guiding jaw growth, and correcting bites. Dr. Vo completed that residency — along with a master's degree — at OHSU. He is a residency-trained orthodontist with more than a decade in practice, and orthodontics is all he does, so every plan he designs draws on training devoted specifically to it.
Not a chain. Not a franchise.
At many offices you might see a different provider each visit, or have your care handed off between several people. Bridge City is built differently. Dr. Vo is personally involved in every treatment plan and every step that follows, so nothing about your case gets lost in translation. You get to know one doctor — and that doctor gets to know you.
Modern tools, used with judgment
Bridge City pairs hands-on care with technology that makes treatment more comfortable and more precise: comfortable 3D scans instead of goopy molds, fully digital treatment planning, and in-office aligner printing that keeps your care moving without waiting on an outside lab. For selected complex cases, Dr. Vo also offers advanced options like MARPE expansion and TADs (temporary anchorage devices) that benefit from additional planning. When it helps, he can show you a simulated preview of where your treatment is headed. (Simulations are for illustration only; actual results vary.)
