Why we start in person
Accurate orthodontic planning depends on records we can only gather in person — a full 3D scan, photos, and a hands-on exam. That's why your first visit happens at our NW Portland office. If getting in is difficult, ask us about starting the conversation virtually, but plan on an in-person visit before any treatment begins, so your plan is built on a complete picture.

Do I need a referral from my dentist?
No. You can see an orthodontist directly and book a free consultation anytime. We're glad to coordinate with your dentist, but a referral isn't required to come in.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes — your first visit is free, with no obligation. You'll meet Dr. Vo, get a comfortable 3D scan, review your options, and leave with a plan and honest pricing whether or not you decide to start. There's no pressure to commit.
Can I do a virtual consultation?
We can often start the conversation virtually to answer questions and point you in the right direction. An in-person visit is needed before treatment, though, because accurate planning depends on a full 3D scan, photos, and a hands-on exam that we can only do in the office.
What should I bring to my first visit?

How long does the first visit take?
